本心中之課程經由臨床心理學家、社工及特殊幼兒教師乃根據美國語言病理學家Michelle G. Winner的「ILAUGH社交思考」模式為設計藍本。
初步研究顯示,被確診為自閉症的學生在訓練前後(沒有對照組)於聆聽、抽象、想法理解、整體觀及啟動等範疇上均有進步。
